How Is It Done?

A breast enhancement operation involves surgically inserting breast implants behind the natural breast tissues to increase the size of the breasts. Breast enlargement procedures are performed to create better symmetry and make the breasts larger, firmer and fuller.

During the consultation the client together with the surgeon decide whether the incision is made on the lower border of the areolae, in the armpit or in the under-breast fold. Then a silicone implant is placed under the mammary gland or muscle. We only work with the highest quality implants. During suturing non-absorbable or absorbable materials can be used. In the case of non-absorbable materials, the sutures must be extracted within two or three weeks after the operation, while absorbable sutures dissolve in the body on their own and their advantage is also the fact that the scar is finer.

After Surgery

Breast augmentation procedure requires one overnight stay at the clinic and a two-week rest period. A post-operative check-up is done at the clinic on the third to fifth day after leaving it. Then special compressive bra is worn – non-stop for two months and later only when exercising, and the client starts doing pressure massages. It is not advisable to sleep on the side and also all movements involving lifting arms up should be avoided. 

In the first three to four months after the operation, it is not recommended to go to a swimming pool as there is a high risk of acquiring infection. Restrict excessive use of arms for at least 5-7 days. No lifting above the head for two weeks.

Back To Normal

Following uneventful recovery, it is normally possible to return to work and resume customary activities within two weeks of the operation. Normal physical activity, including easy exercise, can be resumed within four weeks; strenuous exercise not until at least six weeks after the surgery.

Result

The resulting shape and size of the breasts can be considered final only after two to three months.    

Extra

Some clients may find out that the implant insertion alone cannot solve their problems with breast size and particularly their shape; in these cases it is recommended to combine augmentation with breast uplift in order to achieve the ideal result.
