Dental Hygiene

Regular and quality oral hygiene can prevent and stop the occurrence of disease of the oral cavity – of both hard dental tissue and of the periodontium. Everyone should take care to ensure good individual oral hygiene at home, and should also from time to time plan a visit to a dental hygienist, who will determine the condition and cleanliness of teeth, remove plaque and tartar, rid teeth of pigmentation, explain the principles of proper dental care and recommend suitable oral hygiene aids. It is almost always a good idea to visit a dental hygienist before undergoing a tooth whitening procedure at the dentist’s office.
